Randy Betsworth, A.B.O.C/Owner

Randy and his wife Ruth are originally from Sioux City, IA,  where he started his career in optics 30 years ago.  He moved to Waterloo in 1975 with Duling Optical and purchased Acton Optical in 1996.  Randy and Ruth enjoy sight seeing, traveling, and their grand daughter.  Randy is American Board of Opticianary Certified and looks forward to welcoming you to Acton Optical.

       Bradley Knox, O.D./Doctor of Optometry

Dr. Knox was born and raised in Waterloo, IA.  He graduated of West High School and went to the University of Iowa for his bachelor degree.  Dr. Knox recieved his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, IL.  He lives in the Cedar Valley with his wife, Amy and his two children, Brady and Brooklynn.  Doctor Knox has been practicing Optometry for 7 years and loves to see patients of all ages.

     Nancy

Nancy has been with Acton Optical for 8 years.  She is in charge of insurance claims and assisting customers with making appointments and answering insurance questions.  Nancy and her husband, Tim, have been life-long residents of Waterloo.  They have 1 son and 3 daughters which keep them very busy.  Nancy enjoys reading, scrapbooking, and volunteering at her daughter's schools.

    Fauna

Fauna has recently graduated from Hawkeye Community College as an Ophthalmic/Optometric/Optician.  She is married to Greg and resides in the Cedar Valley.  They have two daughters, Shaniya and Toriana.  When there is time outside of work and school activities, they enjoy watching movies, traveling, and going to car shows.
